WILDLIFE ON KIAWAH ISLAND

BOBCAT GPS RESEARCH PROJECT DATA

The Town of Kiawah Island, in partnership with the Kiawah Conservancy, initiated a Bobcat GPS study in 2007.  Over the last 3 years, more than 30,000 individual locations of bobcats have been collected from 23 different bobcats.  This page provides links to view the complete location data for all 10 of the bobcats captured during 2009.  In addition, location data from our six 2010 bobcats are available below and will be updated every few weeks during the year.  Check back often for new information.
